The SALVOS...

So we were lucky enough to work with the Salvation Army in sourcing second hand garments to make our sustainable garments for this project.

We were able to sift through one of their main stores and pick garments to deconstruct and reconstruct into a whole new garment.

The manager of the store took us for a tour around their sorting factory where huge bins of clothes come in form all over the place and there are about 4 volunteers who sift through everything, price them

I picked out 3 long-sleeved shirts with the idea of "candy spew" colours and a richness to them.
